- This is a list of added features in this new version
-
- CAL 1.12 - 16 June 1996
-
- - Better help
- - Delete memo's in browser (F7)
- - CAL now starts at year 1583, instead of 1600: the beginning of the
- Gregorian calendar. Actually the Gregorian calendar started in
- October 1582. Note that in some countries it took some decades before
- the Gregorian calendar was used
- - CAL now releases unused time-slices in 'multitasking' environments as
- windoze and Linux (dosemu). I don't know if it works with OS/2
- - Added a localmenu (Alt+F10 or right mousebutton)
- - The search/browser-function, introduced in v 1.11 is now a 'toggle'
- It is now possible to switch to another window while the browser is on
- - Added some configurable options...
- - Counter in global search dialog
- - Added -o (--config) switch to use a different
- configuration-file
- - Removed the 'nagdialog' for unregistered users, it was too irritating!
- Replaced it with a 'scroll-text'
- - First day of the week (Sunday or Monday) is now configurable
-
- CAL 1.11 - 12 February 1996
-
- - Alt+S for saving memo's doesn't work anymore
- Although saving isn't really necessary, it is
- done automatically, it still works with F2
- - Print memo with Alt+P
- - Fixed a bug. After opening a file with F3, CAL didn't
- release all memory
- - Added a Search/replace function in editors
- - Added a global search function (F7)
- - Moved 2 menu-items
-
- CAL 1.10 - 3 February 1996
-
- - Added user defined palette
- - CAL can be configured
- - Added file-selection
- - More open files then just one
- - Better command-line parser. -fdefault.cal = -f default.cal
- - And some minor bug-fixes
- - Added -v switch
- - Removed -f switch. Use files after switches for same effect
- E.g. cal -t default other
- - -t and -p options work on all specified files
-
- CAL 1.09 - 7 November 1995
-
- - Added another delete option
- - Added online manual
- - Save memo with F2
- - Removed memory-info. Use switch -i to show it
- - Added -l switch to change the number of lines, e.g. 25, 28 or 43/50
- - Ctrl left and right always work, not in the current year only
- - And a few bug fixes of course
-
- CAL 1.08.1 - 30 October 1995
-
- - Added -p (pending) switch
- - Added -f (filename) switch to use any filename
-
- CAL 1.07.3 - 25 October 1995
-
- - A few little bug fixes
- - Added some function-keys: ctrl left and right to skip to another
- day with a message
-
- CAL 1.07.1 - 1 October 1995
-
- - Stupid bug fix

- - Added a weekly, monthly and yearly feature
- - Many esthetic changes
- - And quite a number of bug fixes
-
